Application for Duty Concession on Agricultural Items |
The Fijian Government offers a range of customs and taxation incentives to support the agricultural sector. Under customs incentives, companies and individuals engaged in agriculture can import goods with free fiscal duties, free import excise, and 9% VAT, provided they submit a recommendation letter from the Ministry of Agriculture, along with an invoice and bill of lading. These concessions apply to agricultural machinery, livestock and dairy equipment, packaging materials, and items related to floriculture, greenhouse farming, and beekeeping. Some goods, like tractors, ploughs, and milking machines, are eligible for automatic concessions without prior approval. |
