Step-1: Submit Your Application

Actions

1.1 Download the Type Approval Form from FTIP or the website of TAF. 

1.2 Fill out the Application carefully with all required details such as brand, model, and serial numbers for all equipment.

1.3 Collect all necessary documents listed below 

1.4 Visit TAF and submit your application package. 

1.5 You can also email the documents to TAF over email. 

Required Documents

  1. All technical documentation of the equipment in soft/hard copy.
  2. Certificate of Approval from the equipment manufacturer to the type approval (‘TA’) agent.
  3. Declaration of equipment conformity to international standards
  4. Certificate of equipment conformity to such standards
  5. Equipment test reports from FCC or CE or Australia or ITU recognized test laboratories
  6. Type approval certification(s) from Australia and/or New Zealand
