Step 4: Confirmation of Disposal   

Actions

4.1 The generator ensures that disposal confirmation is obtained from the Disposer.

4.2 Exporting Country: If no confirmation is received, notify the relevant parties in the Importing country for advice. 

4.3 Transit Country (if applicable) Follow up with authorities in the transit country to assist in confirming disposal.

4.4 The disposer sends a formal confirmation once disposal has been confirmed.

4.5 Importing country authorities follow up to ensure it is received if confirmation is delayed or missing.
