Step 4: Inspection of the Business Premises

4.1 The Authorized Officer will review the application submitted, and if any documents are missing or incomplete, the trader will be notified and requested to submit the necessary documentation.

4.2 After reviewing the application, the Authorized officer will schedule an inspection of the applicant’s premises.

Note: The inspection ensures that your food establishment meets the requirements outlined in Section 20 of the Food Safety Act, focusing on cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards

4.3 Once the inspection is complete, the Authorized Officer will prepare a report and forward the following to the Central Board of Health:

  • The inspection report.
  • All the documents submitted (application form, business registration, tax compliance letter, and fee).
  • Any other relevant recommendations or reports from the inspection.
