3.1 If the business establishment meets all the food safety requirements, a Health License will be issued or renewed for the upcoming year.

Note:

• The license is valid until the 31st December of each year.
• The Central Board of Health has the authority to refuse, suspend, vary, or cancel the Health License if the business establishment is found to be non-compliant with food safety regulations
• Operating without a valid Health License is an offence punishable by:
  • A fine not exceeding $10,000 or
  • Imprisonment for up to 5 years.
